Project Goal – Collection of Blood for critically ill patients
Project details- IWC Vijayawada Sunshine organized a blood donation camp at STPI, Vijayawada wherein 24 youths- men and women came forward donated blood and many more came forward but couldn’t due to various reasons. This was a very successful project as we interacted with the young talents who were inquisitive about Inner Wheel and few came forward to engage themselves and assist in our future projects. It was indeed a project engaging and encouraging our future generations. We felicitated the donors with Certificate and Coffee mugs with Inner Wheel logo as a token of appreciation for their noble gesture. This camp was organized under the initiative of our Club Secretary- Dr.Bhargavi.

Project Goal – Positivity and hope: Encourage students for better studies
Project Description. :- “A little thought and a little kindness are often worth more than a great deal of money.” Going ahead with this simple thought one of our friend came forward to celebrate her birthday by distributing stationery and snacks to the students of Boyapati Shivarama Krishnayya Municipal School, Mogalrajpuram alongwith the members of IWC Vijayawada Sunshine to cheer up the students and to help them and encourage them to study well.

Project description:
“Education is part of the foundation of all progress and growth, both as an individual and as a society.”

IWC VIJAYAWADA SUNSHINE donated Sound Box, Educational Charts, Slates, And White Board markers etc to help kids of rag-pickers residing in Gamela bazaar slum area who study in a local study center which is being supported by our club.

Our club Vice- President spontaneously presented one solar light to the MOST MERITORIOUS GIRL STUDENT in the center as a reward to her hard work. We also promised many more such solar lights to the students who will show promising results in their studies to motivate them in studies. As a part of our community adoption program under- Adopt a mission, build a vision, we are regularly visiting the area and catering to various needs of the community and trying our best to motivate them towards proper education and healthy & hygienic lifestyle, hoping our consistent efforts will bring a positive change.

Project -TRAIL BLAZER:R:- Rising Strong: Empowering Women

Project description: First step towards Women Empowerment is FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE. To help women entrepreneurs, we organised an EXIHIBITION for women who generally sell products from home and offered them a platform to step out and get visibility for their products and business. Exhibition was a success with more than 500 footfalls and sellers were satisfied with sales outcome. We honoured Mrs. Ritu Jain who came up with this idea and initiative of providing a platform to fellow entrepreneurs. Impressed by our efforts and support, she came forward and joined our club as a member spontaneously. This also served to a be Branding of Inner Wheel. Many women were inquisitive about Inner Wheel and we explained them our organization and our work.

To acknowledge the significant contributions our teachers are doing in a day to day life, we the members of IWC VIJAYAWADA SUNSHINE felicitated and Honored the teachers of Government Middle School, Kanuru on this special occasion of Teachers day. Our Vice-President Mrs Babita Jain under her able guidance organized this project and appreciated profusely for the selfless efforts the teachers are putting towards shaping our future generations and country. We presented them with shawl and eco- friendly jute lunch bags followed by snacks.

Project Description: *“ Life is all about spreading smiles “ *
With an objective spreading true smile, IWC Vijayawada Sunshine conducted Dental check ups camp for 70 girls inmates of VMM UDRH Orphanage under the initiative of our Club Secretary Dr. Bhargavi who had observed the dental needs in the students during the Friendship Day Celebrations at Aethist center. Dr. Bhargavi along with her team of 4 Dr’s from SRI SUDANTHA DENTAL CLINIC AND IMPLANTS CENTER did a thorough dental examination and listed the dental needs for them.
DR.BHARGAVI also enlightened the students with an AWARENESS SESSION ON ORAL HYGIENE MAINTENANCE.

PASTES AND PALLI CHIKKI ARE DISTRIBUTED AMONG THE KIDS

ALL THE FINDINGS OF 70 KIDS ARE NOTED INDIVIDUALLY IN A SEPERATE BOOK.. The warden has been informed about the findings and she will be accompanying the children turn by to the clinic and THEY WILL BE TREATED FREE OF COST by Dr. Bhargavi at her dental center.

Project Description:

IWC Vijayawada Sunshine on Sunday 20th August visited community of rag picker residing around Gamela bazaar in Autonagar, Vijayawada. As mentioned earlier we are committed take necessary measures to improving the overall quality of life of these slum dwellers, we are providing RAGI Kanji to the children, pregnant ladies and elderlies twice every week to augment their nutritional needs regularly. Working together with Tamkin almara foundation we *donated White Boards, Notebooks, Drawing books, Color pencils, crayons, Slates, Pencil, chalk and other stationeries to aid in education of the children * who are being taught in a special education center there.Additionally we donated a lot of recycled clothes, toys, vessels, books etc to the residents as they commonly lack proper clothes and basic amenities.
We motivated the kids there towards proper education. We believe educating these kids and making them self-reliant is the only way to bring them into our mainstream society.
Our project was also featured in many newspapers today
