The Visionary Leader Behind the Inner Wheel movement
A nurse, business woman and the wife of a Manchester Rotarian, started the Inner Wheel movement. The first official meeting of the Inner Wheel Club of Manchester was on 10 January 1924. The 10th of January is now celebrated as World Inner Wheel Day (or simply Inner Wheel Day), by Clubs all over the world.
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, our club celebrated Gandhi jayanthi on Gandhi hill and paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi. IWC of Vijayawada organized competition for students in quiz, group singing and essay-writing on Gandhi ji. 16 schools have participated. Members PDC Rashmi and Radhika Ashok have taken this responsibility to associate with Gandhi Hill foundation. 6 IWC members participated in these celebrations.
A complete meal was provided to 200 underprivileged people living in temporary shelters along the roadside. The beneficiaries were served as much food as they could eat.

During the meeting, we discussed our upcoming service projects, new project ideas, and plans for the coming months. We also focused on membership growth, active participation of members, and strengthening our club.
