IIW President Message

Messages

Dear Club President,

Congratulations on your nomination as club president this year. The office as club president is important and rewarding. You will be the official face of your club this year. Your members will look at you as the official representative, turn to you with questions and support you in your work.

The club is the most important part of our organisation and your role is vital and significant. You make the club members feel welcome. You listen to ideas and suggestions. The grass-roots decide and you lead.

This year’s theme is “Grow and Flourish”. Through this theme I want to promote energy and inspiration, keep our valuable members, the roots that provide nourishment to the stem and flowers. Let’s grow and flourish to expand and develop. We can all contribute in different ways. Wear your badges, talk to people on buses, trains, leave brochures for people to see, try to write articles to be published and move in a positive direction.

Our work to help and support is of great importance. The worldwide trafficking of girls and women must be stopped. The United Nations is an organisation that has the force and means to pressure countries to stop this awful trade. We must be aware of what is going on around us and report when we suspect this to happen.

Dear club president, I wish you a happy and prosperous year. The aim of our organisation is friendship, service and international understanding. There words are not just there to memorise, they are there to make a change, to reach out and help, to inspire and to promote friendship. Remember you are valuable, you are the core of Inner Wheel and you make the wheels turn.

In friendship

Ingelög Wyndhamn
