In honour of IW founder, nurse and visionary Mrs MARGARETTE GOLDING we have felicitated four nurses with shawl, citation and gift bag worth Rs 2,000/ each

Our club, s as been doing continous project of
giving medicines worth Rs 5,000/ to Cancer Patient Murali Krishna since 2 years. This month the medicines were given to him through our Chairman G. Sreedevi. Our member V. Jyothi sponsored for this month medicines
He was given an extra financial aid Rs 1,000/by PP Usha. G and nurse Vijaya.

OUR CLUB FOR 55th charter anniversary and official chairman visit donated 14 bench and desk sets for the use by Differently abled children of Pavani School. The benches were inaugrated by District chairman G. Sreedevi garu.The teachers were grateful as the need to keep the children seated the benches attached to desks were very much needed.

On our 55th Charter Anniversary and official chairman visit the club donated a computer to
Visakha Children club(VCC) Maddilapalem an interact Club for street children at Alluri SitaRamaRaju Vigyana kendram where a room is provided to the VCC.
The club room and the computer were inaugarated by our District Chairman G. SREEDEVI garu. It helps the street children to learn computer courses and be technologically educated.

IWC OF VISAKHAPATNAM succesfully could project the IW logo in public place and expand the spirit of IW by giving silver item gifts in lucky draws
Our club took up one stall in Vasavi weekend bazaar 2.0 for 2 days 4&5 th Nov. to motivate and do part fund rising for our project of Donating De-weeding machine to organic farmers.
Many public were impressed when told about IW and sevices we render for women empowerment and spontaneously sponsored for coupons as charity. Some women genuinely expressed their will to join IWC. Many people appreciated the spirit of IW

Today on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi IWC OF VISAKHAPATNAM has successfully completed our prestigious continuous project of serving lunch to the inmates of St. Joseph, s old age home for the 42nd year flawlessly.
Under the guidance of project chairman

Members themselves serve the home cooked food brought by them to the inmates and feel blessed to see their smiles with interactive joy

Today 21st September is observed as Alzheimer’s day a global effort to raise awareness around, educate encourage support of and demistify Dementia.
IWC of Visakhapatnam along with Age care foundation as one of the several organizer observed conducted an awareness walk on World Alzheimer, s day
Together for Dimentia
The blue button movement at R. K. Beach
Several estimeed Doctors had shared their knowledge to make people aware about Dimentia pros, cons and how to take care. All the organizers together went on an awareness walk.
A blue cloth was held in the form of letter D to symbolize the blue button movement.
As it was said unable to button up our clothes is first symptom of Dimentia. This year their slogan is Never too early Never too late.
Our member Rama Vidyasagar donated 1,000/rs to Dimentia India Alliance

IWC OF VISAKHAPATNAM held their general monthly meeting on 12-9-2023 at waltair club .
GUEST SPEAKER for the day USHA RAJU an enterpreneur for organic farming products. Has credit of opening Avani organic stores in Rythu Bazaars in vizag and vizianagaram.
She has been appointed by GVMC to identify and train farmers for organic farming
She is an expert in organic composting and gave a talk about it and cleared doubts regarding pest control in home plants and imparted tips and knowledge about it.
Club recognized her commitment to organic farming
