Today our club donated a wheel chair worth ₹5,000/.It was handed over by our Community service director Dr.Anupama to Mr Suresh(he is a book binder and economically in a difficult situation) father of Sai Saranya 11 years old who is in dire need of a wheel chair as she is unable to walk due to difficulties during her birth.The wheel chair would be very helpful for her daily routine.
The wheel chair has been sponsored by Colluru Shilpa neice of our member Prabha Krishna Kumar garu.

During our general body meeting on 7/5/24 our club handed over a cheque worth ₹10,000/ to our member Laxmi who is coordinator of( Sri Venkata Annamacharya seva trust) for putting up a chalivendram at sim hachalam for chandanotsavam.
.They distributed buttermilk to the devotees going to simhachalam for the CHANDANOTSAVAM OF LORD LAXMI NARASIMHA on the auspicious day 10/5/24 to help quench their thirst in scorching heat.

P Prabha krishnakumar’s initiation our club members donated old sarees and good zari borders and beautiful laces to the ladies of Sampoorna a women entrepreneur Institute where physically disabled ladies make beautiful potlies and handbags with the above materials.

IWC CLUB OF VISAKHAPATNAM
Today our club donated 15 ceramic water filterpots costing ₹2.000/each with our IW LOGO STICKERS to local people of kothuru village of Paderu mandal. The people were deprived of procuring drinking water. They were given instructions about installation and using of indigenously made filters by the Laya officers.
The tribals of the village welcomed our members traditionally by washing their feet, putting tilak, garlanding them with continuous drum beat in background. They enchanted them with the popular Dhimsa dance our members also enjoyed the dance with them. They also served our members home cooked food expressing their humble hospitality

IWC OF VISAKHAPATNAM during our March general body meeting and
Women’s Day celebration held on 5 th March 24, our club recognized and felicitated Yoga instructor ANUSHREE KEDIA for her services to society. She is a yoga instructor in divine touch school. She holds the world record in completing 216 suryanamaskarams in 88 minutes. Her name has also been entered in yogasana world record book. She was felicitated with a shawl. T light shublabh hanging worth ₹ 900/
