Innerwheel Club of Vijayawada DIVAS Installation of President Podile Kalyani Chowdhury, Secretary Meghal A Barodia, Treasurer Yadlapalli Aruna, ISO N. Sri Shilpa and Editor Dr. B. Satya the New Board Members for the year 2024 – 2025 by Chief Guest PDC P. Yashoda garu in the presence of PDCs Sakala garu, Rashmi garu and District ISO Radhika garu at Our Clubs Installation Ceremony on July 18th, 2024 in the presence of IPP Swarupa we have inducted 4 New Members and released our Clubs first bulletin.

Our Club Installation Ceremony was broadcasted on DNR NEWS CHANNEL for Public Image.

On occasion of WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY our President P. Kalyani Chowdary conducted Drawing competition for children of SaradaRamakrishna Vidhyalayam on the Topics:

• Nature Conservation
• Environment Care
  Children from Lkg to 10th class participated. 10 consolation prizes and 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for each class were given.
  e – Certificates were provided to all the winners and participants.
  A poster on Nature conservation has been explained and placed in their Notice board.
  Snacks were provided.

🔸 GREEN MARATHON — Vegetable garden and Fruit Garden Started

🔸Description :-
A vegetable garden was encouraged and started at KONERU BASAVAYA CHOWDARY JILLA PARISHAD HIGH SCHOOL, as a part of eating healthy pesticides free vegetables.

We have given necessary Vegetable seeds like Tomato 🍅, Brinjal 🍆, Chillies🌶️, Beans 🫘, Ladyfinger🫛 and Green leafy vegetables like Spinach🥬.

We provided them with long-term plants as Seed balls for Sapota, Amla, Papaya, Custard Apple 🍏 and Sweet Lime🍋‍🟩 and plants of Banana 🍌

As part of ongoing Nature Conservation Drive, A poster on Nature conservation has been explained and placed in their Notice board. Posters were given to Mandal Education Officer Vijaya Lakshmi garu to post in the Notice Boards of all the Government Schools in Vijayawada.

Nutritionist V. Yasaswini addressed 2000 children, about the Importance of Healthy and Nutritious Diet and the Fortified Rice provided by Government which is enriched with vitamins and minerals should not be wasted. Peanut chikki or the chutney provides essential oils required for sharp working of your mind.

The importance of maintaining a vegetable and fruit garden helps you to eat fresh, healthy and non pesticide food and an Oath to Grow the Garden is taken from the kids.

In the presence of Vijaya Lakshmi garu, Mandal Education Officer we have done this project.

Poshan a mid-day meal for school children is a Government initiative, yet Shubadin Bhojan is a concept of encouraging elders of the villages, Service Organisations and philanthropists to inculcate Good habits and Morals to School Children.

Nutritionist V. Yasaswini addressed children, about the Importance of Healthy and Nutritious Diet.

🔸Description :- We Encouraged members participation and involvement of communities by organising temple visits at Akshay Patra and participating in Sravanamasams, Sravana pati to Lakshmi Devi at Dasavathara Venkateswara Swamy temple. We have contributed to the prasads at the temple.

🔸Description :- We have participated in Cyber Crime Awareness Hackathon along with Home Minister V. Anitha, CP Rajaskhara Babu, Collector G. Srujana, Municipal Commissioner H.M. Sri Dhyanachandra, MLA Gadde Ram Mohan, MLA Bonda Uma, Police Department and various college students.

🔸Description :- On the occasion of World Organ Donation Day the theme “Be the Reason for Someone’s smile Today!” is in accordance with “Our Mission Save the World by Serving the World Shower Smiles & Collect Blessings” today we have conducted an awareness program on Organ Donation.

Dr Sai Krishna has explained and clarified all the doubts of participants.

We have 25 registrations for organ donations.

We have felicitated the Doctor and an Organ and Full Body Donar to Medical College, Mr V. Babu Rao.
