  • The Inner Wheel Club of Tuni warmly celebrated the installation of its new team for 2025–2026. The event included a discussion on upcoming service projects and a heartfelt felicitation to the outgoing President and Secretary for their dedicated service. Chief Guest and Rotarians were honoured with shawls and plant saplings as tokens of respect. Fun-filled games were organized for members, and prizes were distributed, adding joy to the occasion. The gathering reflected unity, gratitude, and enthusiasm for the year ahead

  • The Inner Wheel Club of Tuni, under the banner of Inner Wheel District 302, proudly organized a grand fundraising event – “Nari Exhibition and Sale”, marking a historic milestone as the first-ever mega exhibition in Tuni. The event showcased 50 vibrant stalls from across the state, featuring a wide variety of women-oriented products like jewellery, clothing, home décor, and household essentials. It received a tremendous response with nearly 3,000 visitors from Tuni and Payakaraopeta attending the exhibition. Adding excitement to the event, 50 lucky draws and 2 bumper draws were conducted for visitors. This event not only empowered women entrepreneurs but also strongly reflected Inner Wheels commitment to service and social welfare. The funds raised were used to support cancer vaccination for underprivileged women, aligning with Inner Wheels mission of caring for womens health. This remarkable initiative showcased the power of Inner Wheels service, sisterhood, and impact in the community

Alongside our awareness program, we also organized a donation drive in Village Solabu. We distributed old clothes, dresses, and new blankets to the tribal community.

We had warm and friendly interactions with the villagers and shared moments of joy, especially with the children. To bring smiles to their faces, we distributed small chocolates and sweets to the kids. It was a heartwarming experience that helped build connection and trust with the community.

Awareness Guide for Periods in Tribal Area

🔸 Description:
Today, we visited Village Solabu, a nearby tribal community, and conducted an awareness session for teenage girls on menstrual hygiene. We educated them on how to use sanitary pads properly, the importance of hygiene during periods, and precautionary measures to be taken. It was a wonderful and engaging class aimed at empowering the girls with the right knowledge.

Additionally, we also addressed the men in the community, spreading awareness about how they can support women during menstruation and encouraging open, respectful conversations around the topic. Sanitary pads were distributed to the participants as part of the initiative.

As part of our cultural and creative initiatives, our club organized a Flower Garland Making Class — a beautiful blend of artistic skill and spiritual devotion. This special session focused on creating traditional garlands used to decorate deities, combining creativity with sacred purpose.

The session was led by expert Mrs. Sirisha Dasari, who showcased a variety of garland-making techniques. Her presence was made even more special with the soulful singing of Annamacharya Keerthanas, bringing divine energy into the space.

As a gesture of gratitude, we honored Mrs. Dasari with a beautifully designed phonogram, appreciating her time, dedication, and the cultural richness she shared with us.

Through this gesture, we aimed to promote the values of care, visibility, and community outreach.
