During the auspicious nine days of Varahi Navratri, the IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS organized a series of devotional activities to invoke spiritual unity and strengthen club bonding.
These included:
Abhishekam, Homam, Archana, Kumkuma Puja, Harathulu, Vuregimpu, and Prasada Vitharana, with enthusiastic participation from all members.
This initiative was also aimed at enhancing member involvement, reinforcing a sense of belonging, and gently encouraging timely subscription renewals through shared cultural and spiritual experience. We extended spiritual benefits to the general public who participated in the rituals and received prasadam.
Project Category – Reach Out For A Better World – Youth Development: Education – Motivational Talks & Awareness Sessions
IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS had the privilege of organizing a motivational session in collaboration with Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala, on the occasion of International Malala Day.
Our Charter President, Mrs. Kavitha Kodali, stepped up with grace and delivered an inspiring address. She spoke from the heart about education as the gateway to independence, and reminded the young women in the audience of their immense potential to lead, uplift, and transform the world, just as Malala Yousafzai has.
Our Club President, Dr. Satya Bora, also addressed the gathering and shared the vision of Inner Wheel: to support and empower girls and women through education and service. She emphasized the importance of platforms like this where we can encourage the next generation to raise their voices, pursue knowledge, and lead by example.

Inner Wheel Club Vijayawada DIVAS has conducted an Awareness Program on Social Sustainability by G. Aruna Sree gaaru, District Chairman, addressing the students of Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala. She spoke about cancer awareness and vaccination, Education, Womens Empowerment, the need for care of the elderly and children, and social issues in society.
Inner Wheel Club Vijayawada DIVAS has conducted an Awareness Program on Youth Participation in Social Services by our District ESO, Savitri gaaru addressed the students of Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala. She spoke about the importance of youth participation in social services & encouraged the young women to step up & lead.
Our new club president, Dr. Satya addressed the club members and students about the importance of social responsibility & how Every Beat Counts, Every Action Matters – Every project, every smile, every effort we extend – leaves a legacy.

We have celebrated friendship by cutting cakes in the presence of our District Chairman, District ESO, District CZR, our club members, well-wishers & students. We served snacks & drinks to all the attendees.

IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS has conducted an Awareness Program on Prakruti – Clean Planet, Green Future. Ch. Tarasri addressed the importance of oxygen-releasing indoor plants to improve the quality of air as the use of appliances and chemicals has grown in households.
President Dr. Satya Bora has signed an MOU, in the presence of District Chairman, G. Aruna Sree gaaru, and released a poster for Cocos Planters Zone to supply 1 lakh oxygen-releasing indoor plants in phases during this whole year to various institutions.

IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS has conducted an Awareness Program on Prakruti – Clean Planet, Green Future. Mr. I. Krishna Kumar, CoFounder of Prakruti addressed the importance of plastic waste and e – waste management for a clean future.
President, Dr. Satya Bora has signed an MOU, in the presence of District Chairman, G. Aruna Sree gaaru, and released a poster for the collection of plastic and e-waste from various institutions.

IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS has conducted an Awareness Program on Career Edge: Unlocking Professional Potential. M. Karthik Chowdary, COO of Career Edge addressed the students about the importance of Softskills and building up confidence for job preparedness.
President Dr. Satya Bora has signed an MOU, in the presence of District Chairman, G. Aruna Sree gaaru and released a poster for conducting Softskills and job oriented training to college students in various institutions.
Project Category: REACH OUT FOR A BETTER WORLD- Water and Sanitation- Cleaning of ponds and river
The IWC of Vijayawada Divas, in collaboration with the Municipal Corporator, government officials and ward members organized an awareness program and rally in Moghalrajpuram to highlight the importance of maintaining clean surroundings and preventing waterlogging. As part of the initiative, BTI was used for sewer disinfection and chemicals were sprayed in the area to curb mosquito breeding. The campaign aimed at creating a healthier, mosquito-free environment for the community.

On August 12th, the IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS extended its support and compassion to the students of Vijaya Mary Blind School by organising a special dinner and snacks donation drive.
The initiative included:
A wholesome non-vegetarian dinner for the children and staff.
A variety of snacks, including refreshing squashes prepared by young women entrepreneurs, thereby also supporting and encouraging local women-led businesses
This thoughtful gesture combined care for the differently-abled community with the empowerment of women entrepreneurs, making the project more impactful and multidimensional.

Project Category: Reach Out For A Better World – Family Welfare: Health & Community – Community Welfare ProgramOn the occasion of Indias 79th Independence Day, the IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS proudly celebrated the spirit of patriotism by organising a flag hoisting ceremony at the local Grama Sachivalayam. The event brought together our members and village representatives in a meaningful gesture of unity and respect for the nation. After the flag hoisting, everyone joined in singing the National Anthem, followed by an exchange of greetings and expressions of gratitude for the countrys freedom and progress. We had snacks & drinks during this event.
