3.Description of the project –
Dementia and Alzheimer’s are mostly seen in old age, where there is memory loss and inactiveness .Our club, along with ACF (Age care Foundation) started Uddipana (Chaitanyam,Uttejam)to interact with elders in oldage homes and make them participate in games,singing, mind games etc As a part of the program, we visited St Joseph oldage home, where we made them sing songs and played passing the ball game. They actively participated and were happy to interact . We distributed biscuits and served lunch. This is a continuous project and every month visiting different oldage homes.
