As part of our ongoing efforts to support inclusive education, essential learning materials were distributed to the students of Vijaymary Blind School. The items included uniforms and Braille books, specially curated to meet the educational needs of visually impaired children. This initiative was successfully carried out with the involvement of G. Aruna, PDC Pramila Rani, and PP Rama, whose active participation and dedication ensured the smooth execution of the project. The total cost of the project amounted to ₹21,000

IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS members, Board members of 2024-25 & Board members of 2025-26 attended the District Assembly held at Sai Priya Beach Resort, Visakhapatnam on 5th July 2025. It was hosted by IWC Waltair.
2024-25 President, Kalyani Chowdary Podile won an Appreciation Award for membership growth & services.
Kavitha Kodali, our Charter President, who took upon the role of District CZR for Zone 4, was also appreciated for her efforts & support by the outgoing DC Lakshmi Srinivas gaaru.
2025-26 President, Dr. Satya Bora was sashed by the incoming DC Aruna Sree gaaru as a Golden President.

The meeting focused on our ongoing and upcoming projects, with members actively sharing ideas for new service initiatives. The conversations were inspiring, the ideas meaningful, and we wrapped it up with some light snacks, refreshments, and plenty of laughter.
It was truly a day of friendship, collaboration, and the spirit of service that defines IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS.
We organized a bird conservation program as part of our environmental awareness efforts. To promote harmony with nature and support local birdlife, our members actively participated by hanging bunches of rice seeds in accessible outdoor spaces. This initiative aimed to provide nourishment to birds while fostering a collective responsibility toward preserving the environment.
