Project Details: IWC of Vijayawada East conducted drawing competition to children of R A MS School, Vijayawada on the occasion of Diwali and Childrens day. The topic of the competition is Diwali. Students from 1St to 5th Grade participated in the competition in large nos. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes were given to the children from each class. For Winners notebooks were given and to all the children from class 1-5 were given pencil boxes

Project details – LV Prasad eye institute is a wide spread eye care hospital in more than 275 places in India.They are affiliated to Harvard Medical school. Every year they conduct drawing competitions for children in various schools and quiz,elocution,math calculations for blind children on children’s
day. Our member Lakshmi Swamy went as a judge.They arranged function for prize distribution. Soujanya Bhagavatulu came as chief guest Indian Idol winner season 2 and Dr. Ram Kumar explained about refractive error in children and how to identify them. Our members sponsored the gifts for the winners in the competitions.

Place Juvenile welfare correctional services
On the occasion of children’s day the superindent of the Juvenile home requested us to entertain & motivate the kids, as the kids thoroughly enjoyed our earlier visit. Our committee member Neeraja sponsored sweets, biscuits, educational items for the kids. We organized games & distributed gifts to the kids. We thank the superintendent of Juvenile home Mr. Ram Mohan reddy for his support nd making our day memorable.
