On the occasion of World AIDS Day, the Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada East organized a special initiative to support HIV-affected individuals. As part of this program, rice bags, groceries, hygiene kits, dental care essentials, and books were distributed, benefiting over 30 people.

This impactful project was generously supported by our members Mrs. Sailaja garu, president Dr.Revathi garu.

🔸Project name : Vital Skills: BCLS Training for Young Lifesavers

🔸Description : Vital Skills: BCLS Training for Young Lifesavers” is an empowering program organized by the Inner Wheel Club vijayawada east, aimed at equipping youth with essential life-saving techniques through Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) training. Conducted in two batches, the program successfully trained 50 students, with the guidance of two expert trainers. The initiative focused on teaching critical skills such as CPR, AED usage, and emergency response, empowering young individuals to confidently respond to medical emergencies, and fostering a generation of lifesavers dedicated to enhancing community safety.

🔸Description : On behalf of Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada East our club member CHAYA DEVI garu donated a full day meals to orphan children in S.K.C.V Children’s trust and prem vihar boys home in memory of her husband Late Sri Kalagara Naga Babu garu.

🔸Project name : Champion’s Court: Badminton Tournament Sponsorship

🔸Description : Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada East organized a successful all india subjunior Badminton Tournament in Vijayawada. Our club member CHAYA DEVI garu has taken the initiative and conducted the tournament in memory of her husband Late Sri Kalagara Naga Babu , who served as President to Krishna District Badminton Association and recognized his services towards development of Badminton in Krishna District. It was conducted at Chennupati Ramakotaiah Municipal Indoor Stadium, Patamata & SAI Sandeep Badminton Academy ,Vijayawada from 3rd to 11th October 2024. It was the biggest Ranking Tournament in India and around 1500 players had participated from all over the country

On behalf of innerwheel club Vijayawada east, Our club member Padmaja yerneni garu has donated 5000rs to a household worker towards an emergency treatment to her son. And also donated groceries for household workers and municipal worker as they have affected badly due to floods in vijayawada.

On behalf of innerwheel club Vijayawada east, first year B.Tech fees was sponsored for a student by name Krishna Sri who has approached with need. Our club member Padmaja yerneni garu has taken the responsibility and arranged the college fee which is 1.8 lakhs and also given some new clothes to that student.

🔸Project name : Go Green: Plantation drive

🔸Description :
Plantation drive was performed in siddhardha mahila kalasala to create awareness in young minds about our invaluable resources like plants and trees. Explained about how to plant and some tips were given to students for the better growth of the plants. Some group of students were alloted for each plant and they were asked to take care of their plant until it grows into a tree. Students enjoyed the activity and participated actively.College principal has given a word that Inner wheel logo will be marked on each plant when it grows.
