On Eve of International Children’s Book day

Since 1967, on or around Hans Christian Andersen’s birthday, 2 April , International Children’s Book Day (ICBD) is celebrated to inspire a love of reading and to call attention to children’s books.
In view of that we went to MPUP school and distributed story books to children and dictionaries to school
We explained the importance of book reading rather than watching YouTube etc

We planned to celebrate women’s day with old age people that too who are staying in homes so we went to old age home and chit chat with them asked their memories and so on really they enjoyed to share all’ finally we distributed fruits and biscuits

Project details: At degree College we have taken awareness program by mentioning following points
Gender equality is, first and foremost, a human right. It implies that women, men, boys and girls of all classes and races participate as equals and have equal value. They enjoy equal access to resources, freedoms and opportunities to exercise control.
Gender equality prevents violence against women and girls. It’s essential for economic prosperity. Societies that value
women and men as equal are safer and healthier. Gender equality is a human right

Promote gender equality at home.

Everyone is capable of contributing to the cooking, cleaning, childcare, and other unpaid labor it takes to keep a home and family. Not only does sharing the load between women and men break down stereotypes, it also makes caring for a household easier — many hands make light work.
Provision of fairness and justice in the distribution of benefits and responsibilities between women and men
Gender equality can be achieved by women empowerment also so we Innerwheel members Sridevi gaaru and president Aruna counselled the boys and girls of degree students by mentioning the above said points

Project details: On Eve of World cancer day along with our member P. Anjani Devi in collaborated with village people conducted *cancer and breast cancer screening test with the help of Manipal free service bus .Total 78 people attended in that for around 6 people suggested for higher tests .Here total expenditure is more than 50000 but ours is 25000/-

Project details: On Eve of Chairman official visit we celebrated Centenary year by cake cutting along with few simple projects
We felicitated simpel in behaviour and strong in works our chairman sreedeviji
We felicitated evergreen beauty and friendly CZR karamji
We members have taken selfies and spoke with them weather we follow certain protocol or not we don’t know but we mingled and enjoyed with them . Chairman sreedevi ji delivered inspirational speech to our members and CZR Karamji also given motivational quotes and words. Totally we did 6 projects and two celebrations. Really we impressed by words of Sridevi ji and relaxed by Karamji smile
We feel free by simpel city of sreedeviji and feel free by closeness of karamji
70 percent off members attended
Finally we enjoyed with evening supper with idly, gaari,upama and cool drink
