Youth Development

On the occasion of Inner Wheel Day, our Inner Wheel Club undertook a community service initiative to support education by donating 10 chairs to MPP School, Gurla. The objective of this project was to improve the basic infrastructure of the school and provide a more comfortable and supportive learning environment for students.

Walkathon – Orange the World

A large-scale walkathon was conducted with 500 students and 20 teachers under the global campaign “Orange the World – Stop Violence against Women.” Pledges were taken to break silence against violence, handprints were taken on cloth for motivation, and biscuits and pens were distributed to 500 participants.

Establishment of Bottle Bank

A Bottle Bank with Inner Wheel logo was installed to promote reduce, reuse, and recycle of plastic bottles, contributing to environmental sustainability.

Sponsorship of Cricket Jerseys

Fifteen cricket jerseys with club name and logo were sponsored for a team of government employees participating in a cricket tournament, promoting sports and goodwill.

Financial Aid to Bereaved Family

Financial assistance of ₹10,000 was provided to a Rotary Club assistant member who recently lost his father, extending emotional and moral support during difficult time

Donation of Umbrellas

Four umbrellas with Inner Wheel logo were donated to street vendors to protect them from harsh weather conditions while earning their livelihood.

Donation of Iron Almirah

An iron almirah was donated to Sri English Medium School, Kothapeta, to safely store books and educational materials.

The Inner Wheel Club of Manchester was founded in 1924 by Margarette Golding, the first of nearly 4,000 Inner Wheel Clubs today. By 2022, Inner Wheel has grown to more than 120,000 members in 100 countries.
