Awareness Program on Rights of Women & Legal Protection

As part of the District Chairmans official visit, the IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS organised an awareness session on Rights of Women & Legal Protection for students of Vijaya Institute of Technology for Women.
The program had Mrs. Anuradha Maganti, High Court Lawyer, Amaravathi, as the guest speaker. She enlightened the students on:

Teacher Appreciation Certificates Distribution – Chairman’s Official Visit

As part of the Inner Wheel India Literacy Mission (IILM) and on the occasion of the District Chairmans official visit, the IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS honoured 20 teachers of Vignan Bharath School, Poranki, with Appreciation Certificates. The event acknowledged the invaluable role of teachers in shaping young minds and promoting literacy.

Distribution at Vignan Bharat School

On the occasion of the District Chairmans official visit, the IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS organised a Meri Kitaab distribution drive at Vignan Bharath School, Poranki. A total of 450 books were distributed to students, emphasising the importance of education and values in shaping young minds.

Family welfare

To support people during the rainy season, we organized a Raincoat Distribution Project aimed at helping those in need protect themselves from harsh weather conditions. Raincoats were distributed to underprivileged individuals, daily wage workers, and community members who often face difficulties during heavy rains.

Environment Protection

As part of our community service and nature-care initiative, we organized a Birds Feeding Project to provide food and water for birds. This project aimed to promote kindness towards living beings, create awareness about protecting bird species, and encourage people to care for the environment.

Branding & Membership

Our club proudly showcased Inner Wheel in the biggest Dandiya event attended by nearly 600 people. The Inner Wheel logo was continuously displayed on LED screens throughout the program, giving our organization high visibility and recognition.

We conducted kolatam competition n on line games.For winners We have given trophy, medals , certificates n prizes, at last we distributed prasadham – tamarind rice n chakrapongal to all the guests

HPV vaccine awareness

A program is conducted to few women bringing awareness of having Hpv vaccine and described about cervical cancer, followed by snacks and drinks

Clothing distribution in a school

A clothing distribution drive was successfully conducted for the students of KGBV School. As part of this initiative, essential clothing and daily-use items were provided to the children to support their comfort and well-being. The distributed items included regular wear dresses, night dresses, shorts, towels, blankets, shoes, and socks. This effort aimed to ensure that the students have access to proper clothing and basic necessities, fostering a sense of care and encouragement in their educational journey.

CANCER AWARENESS

These days cancer is very common among people. Everyone must take the HPV vaccine, and there should be awareness about it. First, we should get vaccinated ourselves and then spread awareness to others.”
