Peaceful Rally for Street Animal Welfare and ABC Rules Implementation

  • On the occasion of ABC Awareness, the IWC of Vijayawada DIVAS joined hands with the Andhra Pradesh SPCA to participate in a peaceful rally and candle march dedicated to the welfare of street animals.
  • The rally highlighted:
  • The importance of strict implementation of ABC (Animal Birth Control) rules
  • The need to establish feeding spots and humane care practices
  • Awareness about dog—human conflict management
  • Advocating for coexistence between humans and voiceless beings
  • Over 120 members from across the community joined the rally. Our club distributed water bottles to participants as part of the service.

Project : Branding Inner Wheel

As part of the Inner Wheel Branding project, eight members of the Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Vijayawada, District-302, visited the Durga Temple goshala on August 20, 2025. In line with the Inner Wheel motto of “Friendship & Service,” the team distributed new dhotis and sarees to street beggars. They also donated grass, or “go grasam,” to the cows at the temple’s goshala.
