Today as part of women’s day celebrations during our club general body meeting We felicitated past presidents of our club (with momentos sponsored by our president Bimmi Bhala) for their dedicated service and innovative projects done during their tenure keeping the flag of IWC Visakhapatnam flying high.

Today we donated a sewing machine worth ₹10,500/- to B. Soujanya mother of a cerebral palsy child Master Mohith at Sarada school of cerebral Palsy, Ramakrishna MiSsion . for self reliance and create financial freedom

Today with our dedicated member P. P Prabha krishnakumar’s initiation our club members donated old sarees and good zari borders and beautiful laces to the ladies of Sampoorna a women entrepreneur Institute where physically disabled ladies make beautiful potlies and handbags with the above materials

Find the brand voice and create visual identity for INNERWHEEL

Today our club donated 15 ceramic water filterpots costing ₹2.000/each with our IW LOGO STICKERS to local people of kothuru village of Paderu mandal. The people were deprived of procuring drinking water. They were given instructions about installation and using of indigenously made filters by the Laya officers.
The tribals of the village welcomed our members traditionally by washing their feet, putting tilak, garlanding them with continuous drum beat in background. They enchanted them with the popular Dhimsa dance our members also enjoyed the dance with them. They also served our members home cooked food expressing their humble hospitality

strong women stronger world . As part of women’s day, we felicitated six out standing women who proved themselves with great courage and strength. The chief guest was Eshwari Prabhakar, a very inspiring lady.
Eshwari Prabhakar – Principal of Viskaha Valley school
Leela Rani – Director of Lee Pharma and helping organic farmers.
Dr Sravani chitturi – Did PhD. in yoga and is working as a professor at Andhra University.
Vanka Sarada – Journalist Red Magazine.
Abhignya – Architec, doing national and international projects .
Prasanna – software engineer
An abandoned child from Manasu orphanage crossed many hurdles and achieved her goal.
All of them were very good speakers, gave inspiring and motivational speech.our members recognized them with a shawl , saree, dry fruits pack.we had a lucky draw every 15 minutes, and many won gifts.Enjoyed the food and had a good gathering.

Hair Donation for cancer patients

Many of us cut hair to stay fashion updated, many others donate to the Divine as a sign of supreme sacrifice. President of IWC Vijayawada Sunshine , Sumita Bakshi Donated own hair- 12inches towards making of free wigs for cancer patients as a cause for Humanity, hoping this act of kindness, shines a light for someone battling the dark . Many a times, it’s a small act of kindness which can bring joy to someone in need. Eventually it’s not the money, it’s the thought that counts.

Women’s day celebrations& *Speaker meeting on women empowerment *

As part of Women’s day celebrations we conducted a speaker meeting on the topic Women empowerment in collaboration with Max life insurance company by our member Mrs. K Brahmeswari,Retired lecturer . She enlightened the gathering with her speech. As part of Women’s day celebrations Max life Insurance branch head Mr. Gangadhar felicitated the speaker and 6 more members of our club.we also did Meditation under the supervision of pyramid Yoga teacher Mrs. M. Syamala garu. She gave a little introduction of yoga & uses of meditation. Celebrated the women’s day by cake cutting. Our club received one more memento from Balotasavam committee for our services.Many games were conducted& prizes were given to winners. Snacks & drinks were distributed to members attended there.We felicitated manager of Max life insurance company for his incredible support.

our Inner wheel members organised Dental camp at George school Chinna veedhi . Two lady dental doctors came to check the children . Nearly 50 children were checked and so many children r having dental problems. They were referred to doctors for further checkup.
We gave calcium tablets, tooth brushes, tongue cleaners and tooth pastes to all children
Doctors told them how to clean the tooth everyday and precautions to be taken
