Providing Meals to Orphanage

On behalf of Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada East our club member CHAYA DEVI garu donated a full day meals to orphan children in S.K.C.V Children’s trust and prem vihar boys home in memory of her husband Late Sri Kalagara Naga Babu garu.

Organized a successful all india subjunior Badminton Tournament in Vijayawada

Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada East organized a successful all india subjunior Badminton Tournament in Vijayawada. Our club member CHAYA DEVI garu has taken the initiative and conducted the tournament in memory of her husband Late Sri Kalagara Naga Babu , who served as President to Krishna District Badminton Association and recognized his services towards development of Badminton in Krishna District. It was conducted at Chennupati Ramakotaiah Municipal Indoor Stadium, Patamata & SAI Sandeep Badminton Academy ,Vijayawada from 3rd to 11th October 2024. It was the biggest Ranking Tournament in India and around 1500 players had participated from all over the country

Donation for treatment support

On behalf of innerwheel club Vijayawada east, Our club member Padmaja yerneni garu has donated 5000rs to a household worker towards an emergency treatment to her son. And also donated groceries for household workers and municipal worker as they have affected badly due to floods in vijayawada.

Sponsoring a college fees

On behalf of innerwheel club Vijayawada east, first year B.Tech fees was sponsored for a student by name Krishna Sri who has approached with need. Our club member Padmaja yerneni garu has taken the responsibility and arranged the college fee which is 1.8 lakhs and also given some new clothes to that student.

Mega Health Camp.

The health camp was conducted by the Delta hospitals Rajahmundry , Sri Sai Ram Dental Hospital Rajahmundry, Dr Agarwal Eye Hospital Rajahmundry. Doctor Consultation was done to patients at free of cost. Our PDC Smt Raji Garu also attended the camp and encouraged us to do many more projects that help who are in need.

Empower woman and girls

Inner Wheel Club of Waltair is giving salary Rs 12,000/-monthly to an Age Care Foundation nurse every month.We gave Rs 36,000/-(July,August,September) to her during District Chairman’s official visit.Age Care Foundation (Hospice)takes care of Palliative care and provides geriatric care to underprivileged elders suffering from life limiting illness
