Inner Wheel District 302 Chairman G. Aruna Sree’s Installation Function

Visakhapatnam, July 5, 2025 — G. Aruna Sree was formally installed as the District Chairman of Inner Wheel District 302 for the 2025-2026 term. The prestigious installation ceremony took place at the Sai Priya Beach Resort in Visakhapatnam and was attended by approximately 200 members.

The ceremony, which began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and a welcome dance, saw Outgoing District Chairman Lakshmi Srinivas induct Aruna Sree and the new District Executive Team. Following the induction, Chairman Aruna Sree addressed the gathering to share the core focus areas for the coming year.

The occasion was marked by the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Shanka Brata Bagchi, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam. Dr. Bagchi delivered a speech and released the new District Directory, and was later felicitated by the club with a memento and shawl.

The Host Club, IWC Waltair, was specially thanked by District Assembly Chairman PDC M. Valli Ramgopal and District Assembly Secretary PDC Asoka Kumari for their support and hospitality. Host Club President Swati Mudundi and Secretary Dr. Lakshmi Prasuna extended a heartfelt welcome to all members.

Other highlights of the evening included the release of the District Souvenir, the felicitation of Past District Chairmen (PDCs) and other guests, and the presentation of sashes to all Golden Presidents. The event concluded with a business session, which included an explanation of the Corpus Fund by PDC Asoka Kumari and the presentation of awards for clubs – 2024-25 batch – performance by AC Member Lakshmi Srinivas.
