Participated in DemCon’25 ,Dementia Conference at GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research,Visakhapatnam

Inner Wheel Club of Waltair members participated in DemCon’25 ,Dementia Conference at GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research,Visakhapatnam on 5 th & 6 th December,2025 organized by Dementia India Alliance.Dementia is not merely a health concern,it is also a significant social issue requiring a lifespan approach.Dementia has emerged as a public health emergency, with more than 88 lakh elderly Indians currently affected. The event features renowned speakers from India and abroad .This conference was a unity of contributors of clinicians,students,educators,social workers ,NGO’s,policy makers,family caregivers and researchers.It is a collective action to ease individual suffering and empower caregivers. Sneha Sandhya Age Care Foundation is one of the collaborator for DEMCON ‘25. Age Care Foundation takes care of Palliative care ,Dementia Care and provides geriatric care to underprivileged elders suffering from life limiting illness. We have done various projects under Palliative Care ,Hospice Care, Dementia at Age Care Foundation from past 10 years.
