We have celebrated our 78th Independence day at Sri Vasavi degree and Jr College ,

We have celebrated our 78th Independence day at Sri Vasavi degree and Junior College , Visakhapatnam.
Merit scholarships and college toppers from degree and junior college were selected and 5 of them were given cash awards amounting to Rs.16000/- Sponsored by KS Gupta memorial trust and some of the trustees are our IW members PP Suseela Rao, PP C Prabha Krishna Kumar, VP Nirupama Reddy and Rama Bisya Sagar.

Financial aid worth Rs.25000/- was given to 8 students from that college by KS Gupta memorial trust.

2 months computer training program was given to 24 students and Rs. 5000/- was paid as honorarium to the tutor, by KS Gupta memorial trust and the participants were distributed certificates on completion.

Essay competition was conducted by Rama Vidya Sagar in association with Heartfulness and common wealth. Prizes were distributed to winners in Carroms, chess, musical chairs, and rangoli. 2 prizes in each category were given.

All prizes worth Rs.2000/- were sponsored by Nirupama Reddy.

Sweet and hot were distributed to students and guest worth Rs.4000/-
